Short Description

The lathe  is design for energy industry for machining turbine shafts, paper and cement industry for machining of drums with large diameter and lengths. The lathe owing to application of innovative mechanical solutions combined with the advanced control and programming systems guarantees efficient roughing and finish-machining. The base construction of the machines are rigid foundation plates where is possibility to move the two-guideways bed, headstock and the tailstock. This configuration of machine allows for a wide range of machining and provides high accuracy, repeatability and excellent finish of surfaces treated providing reliability. The wide range of accessories enables further increase of machining efficiency.

1 General features of the machine

1.1           Two-guideway bed, cast of cast iron of advanced mechanical properties, standardized, suitably ribbed, setting and fixing on the foundation plates, provided with hardened guideways purposed for the carriage  of  hardness min. 45 HRC;

1.2           longitudinal carriage travelling along two guideways ensuring perfect precise guidance;

1.3           steady and a tailstock guides on separate plates;

1.4           travel of longitudinal and transversal carriage along guideways lined with anti-friction material and aided with central lubrication;

1.5           body of a headstock cast of cast iron of advanced mechanical properties founded on the basis of the foundation;

1.6           spindle supported on bearings of advanced accuracy class;

1.7           all shafts and gear wheels are carburized, hardened and grinded.

2.13        tailstock including Ø 450 mm quill provided with rotary spindle, indicator of clamp force and compensation of work piece elongation, with automatic slide out of the quill, travel along plates and automatic clamping to plates;
